Actual Photograph, or Enhanced

In the last post I asked you to look at the difference between Color or Black and White photographs.
Now have a look at another image, but treated two different ways.
This first shot is of a tree, somewhat in isolation, at the edge of a lake.


This is before any editing has been done. No cropping, and not even any photoshop work to get rid of the white bag sitting on the grass.

Next is the same shot, but with some pretty serious enhancements added.


First it has ben cropped to remove most of the foreground, the colors have been enhanced, and a "painterly" effect has been added.
Still not perfect, but an improvement over the raw image.
I will probably go back redo this scene this Summer, but I will wait for a day that includes some white, fluffy clouds in the background.
